NEWS24.CO.ID -  In the 1960s, a village in Wales was built for workers at a mine near Powys. Before, it was owned by Indigo Jones, who bought the village and a nearby slate quarry.

In this village, there were 16 homes that built there, and these are all tenanted out, being sold as a package for people looking to make rental income or increase the value of the sites over time.

Aberllefenni originally went on sale for £1.5 million, but the price has now been dropped to £1.25 million. The backdrop of the village is the stunning Dyfi Forest and Cader Idris mountain range, making it perfect for outdoorsy types.

Although there’s lots of countryside nearby, the market town of Machynlleth is just seven miles down the road, and you can visit the beaches of Aberdovey, Barmouth, and Fairbourne in no time at all.

The nearby mine was closed in 2003, but the owners of the slate quarry nearby continue to used until this day. And Aberllefenni’s houses reflect this, with many of them covered in the ubiquitous grey stone.

Now,  the village is going for £1.25 million, which if you divide it by the 16 houses is just over £28,000 each. Wow, very cheap...
