NEWS24.CO.ID - This time Mohamed Salah was completely wrong. Liverpool star player was threatened with traffic sanctions after being recorded using his mobile phone while driving a car. Wrong Action was recorded in a video which uploaded to social media. The video is believed was recorded after Liverpool's 4-0 win over West Ham on Sunday, August 12th 2018.

In the video, Salah was seen scrolling the screen of his phone while driving in heavy traffic. Fans, including children, clustered near the white car in hope that Salah would open a window to just sign or take pictures with them. However, the Egyptian footballer remained focused on his phone.

"We are aware of a video believed to show a footballer using a cellphone while driving. This has been passed on to the relevant department. Thank you for telling us" the Merseyside Police said on his Twitter account @MerPolCC.

It is illegal touching your phone while the car's engine is turned on. In the UK, this behavior can make a driver's license get a three-point penalty, a driving ban, or a fine of GBP 1,000 (IDR 18.6 million).

"The club, after discussing with the player, has talked to Merseyside Police about the recording. We have also talked to the player and will face whatever punishment club told to" a Liverpool spokesman was quoted as saying by Sky Sports.
